A small (currently being extended) family hotel. Comfortable with friendly service. Great location near Vatican, short walk to Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps and Trevi.
Bathrooms are small but perfectly good.
We have stayed here many times

The breakfast server of our last breafast (Sunday 14.06) was VERY unfriendly. She denied to take more coffee and was unpolite all time. Other personnel was very nice and friendly.

Excellent value for money. Great location: close to the main sites, but across the river. it means: quiet, and you get a feeling of the "real" Rome, not the tourists' one.
The only remark: acoustics between the rooms is not that good, but unfortunately this is not unusual.

The only suggestion I would make is the dining breackfast area is too small. The breackfast tables were too close it was a little claustrobhobic. Aslso, it was great to have the Hotel arrange the Taxie to and from the Airport (super service). Just to let people know their is a set rate to the Airport €30 not €50. Location to historic sties excellent.

Old hotel in not very crowded area, but still within walking distance from Vatican and city centre. Wall heater was not functioning already (beginning of March) and air-conditioning unit had tough time heating the room. No welcome-papers in the room, describing the facilities and providing information on the hotel\city. Double-sized bed as usual was just two small ones together - not really convinient for the couple ;)

Great place. Staff was extra nice and spoke English very well. The location could not have been better to see most of Rome's popular sights easily. Not far from the Vatican or the Spanish Steps. We very much liked this hotel. Room was good, not plush, but clean and well maintained. The other guests we met at breakfast seemed to like the hotel as well. We'd recommend it.

This was my third time in Rome and also my third time staying at Hotel Sant'Angelo. I will be returning next year and staying at Sant'Angelo also.
