Very well run, central and easily accessible to the rest of the the city. Staff were most pleasant and extremely helpful, namely the lady on the evening shift from Wednesday 5th of Feb until Saturday 7th of Feb.

A good value Hotel, close to the Railway, Metro & Bus stations. Friendly, attentive staff who speak reasonable English.

The reception staff in my opinion were under too much pressure.There was only one staff member on duty and with the number of guests and enquiries the delays in receiving service were far too long eg trying to pay your account on checking out.The hotel is in an ideal location and the facilities are very good.

We had booked a superior room, price 350 Euro! We had a very small room - 520 - . That was not a superior room.
We are very disappointed.

the double rooms are excellent except for the small European type showers as the doors open when you turn around and water spills out onto the floor. The single rooms are exceedingly small (the single bed is more like a couch). However all in all, a good hotel in a great location. You have to get tickets to access the wireless network and it only lasts an hour at a time. The broadband is fast but going down to the reception each hour is simply a bit much. I would indeed recommend it to anyone.

Location excellent, room very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast very limited - we ate at restaurant across the road.
However, would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend to friends and family.

ONLY 2 PROBLEMS WITH THIS HOTEL, A VERY NOISY LOCATION SO DONT EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO SLEEP. ALSO VERY, VERY HARD BEDS.

The rooms in this hotel (on the third floor anyway) are a bit 'tired' but they have every facility and any downside in relation to the rooms was more than adequately made up for by the warmth and friendliness of all the staff in the hotel.

The single room I was given, was very small and hardly allowed for much movement or room for bags. Stuffy. Amenities were fine. So was cleanliness and service. Hotel ambience was bright and cheery.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Ariston immensely and would recommend it to anyone who wanted a hotel near Termini station. Our room was not fancy but it was perfect for our needs and we found the breakfast to be much more than we expected. We were a block away from the Termini station yet heard no noise from our room, and we were within walking distance of many of the sights we wanted to see.

Would recommend this hotel to everyone, our double room was smallish but functional and clean. The breakfast is superb, with bacon & egg if required, at no extra cost. Staff very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Within walking distance of most places of interest, but can use Metro across the road to get around at 1 Euro a journey. Hotel does not do evening meals, but a very good and reasonably priced restaurant across the road.

The manager, housekeeping, and serving staff at breakfast were excellent. We found the location perfect for walking to all major sights, although easy access to public transportation for those who do not wish to walk is only a block or two away. The benefits of staying at the Ariston make it a great value. When we return to Rome we would stay here again.

First we were offered a bad and narrow room on 1st level. Then a sligthly better on 2nd level. Third attempt on 4th level smelled of paint. Finally, after meeting with the hotel manager, we got two separate suites on the 5th level, quite OK.

I arrived late in the evening and got a singleroom which did not meet the standard of a four star hotel, however everything was settled to the very best the following morning. I am very pleased and grateful to the professionalism of the people in the reception and the quality manager.

Location of the hotel is good, 3 min. walking distance to Termini metro station. Also you can walk everywhere if you like. The standard double room they gave us was extremely small but when we wanted another room, they changed it with a superior room without charging any fee!.. Thanks.. The ladies at the front-desk were very helpful. Unfortunately the general cleanliness of the hotel is bad. We stayed 3 nights but they did not changed the sheets at the bed. Also, although we went early to the breakfasts, there were always bread pieces on the floor of the breakfast room.

The hotel was great. It is a five minute walk to the Termini Metro Station, the intersection of the 2 Metro lines making it very easy to get around town. The hot breakfast was terrific. On the day we checked out, we had to leave before breakfast was available. So, the staff packed some breakfast items for us to take to the airport.
