Clean and comfortable room and polite, friendly staff. Out of the six hotels in Italy that we stayed at during our trip, Milton Roma had the best breakfast with hot and cold dishes and a huge selection of rolls and pastries. The location of the hotel is a winner also. The Colosseum is within walking distance, about 20 minutes, and the Metro stop is right outside the hotel. The train and bus stations are only two stops away, with escalators so that carrying luggage is not a problem. The hotel has a parking lot at the side accessible through a remote-controlled gate. There is an extra charge for this, but we didn't use it, so I can't say how much. As tourists on a budget the Milton Roma was great value and we would definitely recommend it.
